Jon Pardi, Daryl Hall, Goo Goo Dolls to Perform at 35th Albertsons Boise Open Presented by Chevron3/12/2024 The 35th annual Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron announced the concert lineup today for this year’s event to be held August 22 – 25 at Hillcrest Country Club. The first event of the Korn Ferry Tour Finals, the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron features four days of PGA TOUR golf with three concerts at Hillcrest in the evenings following the first three tournament rounds.
Last year, the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron set the Korn Ferry Tour charity record delivering more than THREE MILLION DOLLARS to charities. The event will continue its rich history of supporting charity by adding to the nearly $36 Million raised since the inaugural event in 1990. A portion of the money raised for charity will once again come from the Mondelez Tickets Support Charity Program where 100% of all event ticket sales support local charities. Through the Mondelez Tickets Support Charity program, all ticket purchasers will select the local charity their ticket purchase will support. The concerts will kick off following golf on Thursday, August 22nd with Jon Pardi. Currently headlining his worldwide Mr. Saturday Night World Tour, Pardi recently released new music from an upcoming project, “Cowboys and Plowboys” ft. Luke Bryan, as the follow up single to his sixth career #1 on Country radio, “Your Heart Or Mine,” off of his ACM Album of the Year nominated project, Mr. Saturday Night. The album earned Pardi back-to-back Album of the Year nominations and reunited the producing team of Bart Butler, Ryan Gore and Pardi, the same team behind the boards of his critically acclaimed CMA and ACM Album of the Year nominated project, Heartache Medication. Heartache Medication debuted among the top albums on Billboard’s Country Albums chart and was named in 2019 Rolling Stone’s “Best Album of the Year” and by the Los Angeles Times as one of the (Top 10) “Best Albums of the Year.” Following golf on Friday night, Daryl Hall will take the stage. Daryl Hall is a modern-day renaissance man, an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the best-selling duo of all time, the star of his very own award-winning web series-turned-TV staple, Live from Daryl’s House, as well as a successful venue owner with “Daryl’s House,” a restored venue and live music space in Pawling, N.Y. Since signing his first record deal in 1972, the Philadelphia soul man is still achieving career milestones more than four decades later, continuing to perform with his band to sold out venues everywhere. On Saturday night, Goo Goo Dolls will rock the stage. Formed by Rzeznik and Takac in Buffalo, NY during 1986, Goo Goo Dolls have quietly broken records, contributed a string of staples to the American songbook, connected to millions of fans, and indelibly impacted popular music for three-plus decades. Beyond selling 15 million records worldwide, the group has garnered four GRAMMY® Award nominations and nearly a dozen platinum & gold singles combined, and seized a page in the history books by achieving 16 number one and Top 10 hits. As a result, they hold the all-time radio record for “Most Top 10 Singles.” Among a string of hits, “Iris” clutched #1 on the Hot 100 for 18 straight weeks and would be named “#1 Top 40 Song of the Last 20 Years.” On the heels of going viral on TikTok, the track recently achieved seven-times-platinum status and re-entered the Billboard charts, yet again proving the timelessness of Goo Goo Dolls’ illustrious catalog. “We are thrilled to bring Boise another entertaining year of exciting PGA TOUR golf by day and amazing concerts at night at Hillcrest Country Club,” said Jeff Sanders, CEO of Jeff Sanders Entertainment, the company that promotes and operates the event. “Last year the event set charity records thanks to our amazing title sponsor Albertsons, presenting sponsor Chevron, over 125 major sponsors and 800 loyal Boise volunteers.! We can’t wait to do it again while hosting the most fan friendly affordable event in August right here in Boise.” The Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron will be the first of three Korn Ferry Tour Finals events to feature 156 Korn Ferry Tour players as they compete to earn their PGA TOUR cards for the 2024-2025 PGA TOUR season. The tournament has hosted many of the best golfers in the world over the years on their way to PGA TOUR stardom including current PGA TOUR stars Scottie Scheffler, Victor Hovland, Wyndham Clark, Patrick Cantlay, Justin Thomas, Max Homa, Will Zalatoris, Xander Schauffele, and many more. The concerts will be held at Hillcrest CC on the 18th fairway and will start immediately after golf concludes. Concert admission is included with the purchase of daily tickets and four-day passes - there will not be any additional charges or upgraded tickets needed to enjoy the concerts after golf. The concerts are sponsored by Smithfield Foods on Thursday, Tyson Foods on Friday, and Sanderson Farms on Saturday. Tickets go on sale today, March 12th at 9:00 AM Mountain Time and include admission to the golf tournament by day and concerts at night. Daily tickets are only $30 for Thursday, Friday and Saturday and just $10 for Sunday’s final round. A limited number of 4-day passes will also be available for $85 that include admission to all four days of the golf tournament and all three evening concerts. In addition to the great golf and concert admission, all tickets will include admission to four on-course hospitality venues - the Albertsons Wine Bar & Chill Zone and the Michelob Ultra Fan Pavilion featuring Beers Fore Birdies on the 16th green, the Corona Premier Beach club on the 10th green and the Coors Light Fan Deck on the 18th green. Sunday’s Final Round will feature Junior Day sponsored by St. Luke’s Health Plan. Junior Day will include a free tournament logoed hat and lunch for the first 500 kids in attendance as well as free golf games and golf lessons from PGA Professionals.
