Albertsons Foundation Distributes Charity Dollars from 33rd Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron

The Albertsons Companies Foundation along with Albertsons Executives announced today the distribution of charity dollars from the Mondelez Tickets Support Charity Program by which 100% of all ticket sales from the 33rd annual Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron were given to local charities. 
 
Forty local Treasure Valley charities received donations from the event thanks to the Mondelez Tickets Support Charity Program which allowed ticket purchasers to choose which local charity would receive 100% of the money from their ticket purchase.
 
Albertsons Intermountain Division President, John Colgrove, met with five of the benefitting charities today to hand deliver their donations:
  • Idaho Humane Society - $109,811
  • Make-A-Wish Foundation of Idaho - $43,336
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho - $29,756
  • Camp Rainbow Gold - $26,851
  • First Tee Idaho - $22,241
“We are thrilled to support local Treasure Valley charities in such a big way,” said John Colgrove, Intermountain Division President. “Albertsons and the Albertsons Companies Foundation are pleased with the success of last year’s Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron and the charitable funds raised for local charities thanks to the support of our fans and amazing sponsors. We look forward to another great event this year and the impact it will make on our community.”
In total, the 2022 Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron generated a Korn Ferry Tour charity record $3 Million for Charities. The Albertsons Companies Foundation will continue to distribute funds from the 2022 Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron throughout the year.
